Small Group Leader

My name is Nick Campo and I am a 60-year-old retired Law Enforcement officer. After serving over 24 years in law enforcement, as far back to my teenage years, I have always felt a calling to serve God, however never knew where to begin. I have tried other online universities, however, they turned me down stating academic shortfalls, or had fees I could not meet while raising a family on a Deputy Sheriff’s salary. The yearning to begin my small group leader studies once again started to grow and this time with a burning desire, which must be God’s timing, not mine. He placed a new Pastor in my church and when I inquired about an online leadership training course, without hesitation, he provided me with your website. Both my wife and I thank you and God for the opportunity that has been provided to me to pursue my small group leader calling.

On Sunday, August 13th, my lead Pastor, when receiving his Masters of Divinity Degree, asked me to preach to our 9:00 AM and 10:30 Am service gatherings. And God used me in a way that I would never have believed, not only did the Holy Spirit use me as a vessel, but people in the congregation informed Pastor that this was one of the best gatherings they had attended in a long while. I give all glory to my Lord and Savior for this honor. to serve Him in His Kingdom. I want to thank Christian Leaders Institute and Christian Leaders Alliance for their courses to further my walk with God and the minister ordination programs. My goal is to enter church leadership and to be a small group leader as God leads me where he needs me most.
