Leader Ordination Journey

Leader Ordination Journey

Leader Ordination Journey

My name is Melissa Brown, and my leader ordination journey led me to CLI. Originally from Tennessee, I moved to Texas 10 years ago. This ordination with the Christian Leaders Alliance is just the beginning of moving forward in my ministry. By having this ordination, it will help catapult me to new levels in my ministry. It will also show others how serious I am about showing the love of God through ministering to as many as God leads me to minister to.

Currently, I am in the process of writing and speaking poetry that the Father has laid on my heart to write. My poems are primarily about self-improvement through God and coming out of the struggles of life into the life God has created us to live.

God’s Call to Ministry Training at CLI

When I first started at Christian Leaders Institute, I didn’t know much about the Word or ministry. I simply knew that God called me to it. I didn’t even know in which direction God wanted me to go. However, I knew that I needed a better understanding of the ministry and of His word. This ministry training has been extremely helpful in showing and teaching me much about  God’s Word and the ministry.

Life Journey

As a single mother of three beautiful children, my journey has been a rough one. As a young girl, I was introduced to God by my family. From that point on, I turned away from Him only to realize it was the worst thing I could do. However, in all that I went through, it was clear He was still there for me even in my wrongdoings.

I moved to Texas with just my belongings and my children. We left all of my family who currently lives in Tennessee. I started working in the Real Estate field as a Realtor as I always knew my purpose was to help people. But at that time, I didn’t know in what aspect God was going to use me. Then, I decided to open up my own Credit Repair Company. It is mainly for those that needed help in order for them to be able to own their own home. God blessed me with much more as people enrolled in our program that wasn’t just to purchase a house but to have better interest rates on loans when needed. At that point, I got out of Real Estate and went into the Credit Repair field full time.

Ministry Study Program Impact

Now, almost 8 years later, I am still in the credit repair business. However, after a recent breakup, I realized God has more for my life than only to assist people with improving their credit. He wants me to speak to the people and help the people come to Him. My leader ordination journey led me to this ministry study program at CLI. I have a relationship with Him and I know His Word and His voice, I also know in order for me to fulfill His purpose, a clearer understanding of the Bible is a must.

My prayer request is that God continues to speak to me and through me and use me in a mighty way. I desire to help guide lost people to Him and to be His love in human form. Please pray that He continues to take away any fears that prevent me from moving forward in my calling and my purpose. Also, pray that I remain open to being taught at every level about our Savior.
