Trained and Licensed Wedding Officiant
Hello! My name is Bryan M. Kelsey. I am at the Christian Leaders Institute to become a trained and licensed wedding officiant.
I grew up in a Christian home, so I knew the story of Jesus Christ. However, I did not see people living for Him. I had many questions and wanted to learn. When I was 15, my mother and stepfather divorced. It seemed like we were banished from our church for this reason. I felt like I had nowhere to turn and wanted to make sure that others did not ever feel this way.
Therefore, I want to give people who love God a chance to have a trained and licensed person marry them, not simply someone with the proper credentials. This is one of the reasons I want to be a trained and licensed wedding officiant. I want people to know there is someone who cares.
My spiritual journey has been rough and long. I walked away early in my life due to struggles and hardships. Then, I met my loving wife. She was very patient in showing me the way back to God. I fought it because of past hurts. However, I now see Christ and rededicated my life to Him.
Throughout this time, I became active in Celebrate Recovery and was a Stephen Minister at our church. Now, I am ready to learn and help others who are hurt or left out. Thankfully, my wife found the Christian Leaders Institute so that we might learn more and help others along the way. I will be taking more courses and would highly recommend CLI to others.
