Ministry Impact Ordination

My name is Dawn Douglas and I am originally from Los Angeles, California, but I have spent most of my life in a small town in Kansas. I have one daughter and a beautiful grandson. I am an Army veteran and am currently employed by the Department of Defense. My vocation is being a Safety and Occupational Health Specialist, but my passion is teaching. I teach at a local community college on a variety of subjects and I am the Education Coordinator at my local church. I am thrilled to have a ministry impact ordination.

I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in 1991 while I was in the military deployed to Iraq during Operation Desert Storm. Currently, I am President and Founder of Eve Restoration Ministry, a 501c(3), a non-profit organization that aspires to help disenfranchised people find purpose and meaning in their lives through the restorative power of Jesus Christ. I am a passionate evangelist, enthusiastic teacher of God’s Holy Word and my mission in life is to teach the Word of God with clarity and simplicity so that both men and women may come to know Jesus and enter into an authentic relationship with Him through my ministry impact ordination.

I have committed myself to being a life long learner and Christian Leaders Institute has provided an opportunity for me to take quality Bible based classes. It is my intention to use the knowledge I have acquired through CLI to further the gospel and to bring glory to our Father and His Son Jesus Christ through my ministry impact ordination with a life of holiness, passion, diligence, and commitment.

I believe the Deacon Minister Ordination will assist my ministry in confirming that I have obtained a level of Biblical knowledge and maturity to serve as a Servant Leader in my local church. Obtaining my ministry impact ordination further lends to my credibility as a Christian who truly desires to continuously grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Currently, I have been engaged in planting Eve Restoration Ministry, a ministry birthed out of my passion to help men and women who have lost their way to find purpose in their life through the restorative power of Jesus Christ. Eve Restoration Ministry is a lifelong goal and dream to provide a conduit to faith based services that give people a second chance to begin anew with strength and power through the Holy Spirit to conquer the things that have kept them in bondage.

Another door of opportunity is in the area of education. I am in the process of developing classes for new members and lay leader to have a foundational understanding of their responsibility as citizens in the Kingdom of God.

Christian Leader’s Institute’s Deacon Ministry Ordination strengthens my motivation to serve the people of God. My personal motivation comes from my belief that, “…If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things have passed away; behold all things have become new.” (2 Cor. 5:17) With this Scripture firmly rooted in my heart, I believe there is a new beginning for every person, regardless of what they have done in the past. I have experienced the power of a new beginning, and I passionately want others to enjoy the same freedom and abundant life I have first-hand knowledge of in Christ.

My work in ministry covers a broad spectrum. I have a desire to reach out to hurting people and want to share the love of God with them. Because of this passion, I treat ministry as an everyday journey that leads me to engage with strangers on the street, people on my job, family members or anyone who desires to have an empathetic ear to listen to their issues and problems and is willing to take up their concern in prayer.

This free ministry impact ordination has been instrumental in allowing me to continue to learn and grow in grace and knowledge and to seek out godly wisdom when confronted with areas of ministry that I am uncertain as to the Lord’s mind on the matter.

I ask for prayer that God will open doors of opportunity and I will have the boldness, courage, and conviction to walk through them whenever and wherever they present themselves. Eve Restoration Ministry has faced financial, relational and spiritual opposition, which I believe is a demonic attack on the work. Please pray that I will be wise in all facets of ministry and that I will be sensitive to the voice of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
