Youth Ministry Ordination

Youth Ministry Ordination

My name is Anathi Maseti. I am 30 years old. On May 19, 1986, I was born in Ladyfre in Eastern Cape, but I grew up in Mbekweni, Paarl, Western Cape. I am married with one beautiful daughter. I come from a big extended family. I have one brother and five sisters. I am an intern as a draughtsman. I did youth leadership while continuing to learn about Christ. I decided for Christ when I was in Grade 12 when I began to think seriously about my life and my future. I am determined to finish the race as I study for youth ministry ordination.

In the future, I would love to have a youth leadership academy here in Cape Town with my youth ministry ordination. Mentoring young soldiers for Christ, in order to serve the Lord in truth and dignity and change the community for good. I believe in investing in the young to aid the elder in creating a better tomorrow. Seek the Kingdom first and grow in Christ and the fruit of the Spirit, that is what I will get from Christian Leaders Institute. I will never do anything without knowledge because little knowledge is dangerous.

This year, I had an opportunity to run a youth camp, where I and my wife had a time with teenagers. The theme of the weekend was “HOW DO I KEEP MYSELF PURE?” We taught them how to live a pure life in this cruel world, how to keep a morning watch, do their part to care for their body, keep a level eye, be cautious and obedient. We taught them to walk softly in the sanctuary and go on God’s errands.

This Deacon Youth Ministry Ordination will be of good help to me. I have learned a lot which showed more of what God has intended for my life. I have seen that being a servant of and a friend to man is important. I have seen Christ in those I know and from many people from the Bible who lived and gave their lives for the good news of Christ. Now I am ready to witness and share the new story of my life. When my work on earth is done, I desire to leave a legacy of faith behind. I am promising myself that at my house I would be a good husband to my lovely wife and a wonderful father to my beautiful daughter. I want to be a good example, by God’s grace, to everyone that looks at me and my life. I want to take an active part in the ministry of my church, doing what I can to help others to spread the gospel in the world of my generation and the next.
