Ordination Dream

Ordination Dream

Hello, my name is Juan Lucio Villarreal and I have an ordination dream. I am 42 years of age. I live in Brownsville, Texas, USA. I am married to my beautiful, loving, caring and supportive wife, Lucila. We have three children together, a daughter Angelina who is 14, a son Victor who is 12, and our youngest son Gabriel who is 8. I am currently employed at a cable internet and home phone company .

I came to know the Lord at a very young age. I was a reader and would find myself reading anything I could get my hands on. By the time I was 10, I had finished reading the Bible. Yet it wasn’t until I was in my late 30’s that I came to know Christ. As an adult, I came to believe that I did not need God in my life to be happy and spiritually healthy. At times, I came to believe that God had given up on humanity and also at one point that He had died. My oldest sister began interceding for our entire family after my father passed away. It was almost 5 years later that I took up her invitation to attend church. The sweet presence of our Lord in that place moved me in such a way that words cannot describe it adequately. After some months attending that church, I answered the altar call and was led to salvation by Dr. Henry Alvarez. About a month later I was baptized by the Holy Spirit. I currently am a member of Mision Divina church in Brownsville which is pastored by Apostle Gene Izaguirre and his wife Juanita Izaguirre.

I plan to use my ministry training at Christian Leaders Institute in several different ways. I want to be able to effectively witness to anyone who would be willing to listen and accept the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have led quite a few people, some individually and some in groups, in the prayer of salvation. But my goal is to be bolder in proclaiming the way unto salvation as it is our heavenly Father’s plan that no one should perish. I also want to use my ministry training to be a better volunteer at my church. I want to be able to support our church in every possible way.

I know the Lord already has a plan set for me and I know that it entails me receiving my ordination dream here at CLI and with Christian Leaders Alliance. Receiving a scholarship from CLI means a great deal for me. I have attempted to receive a degree from a local Bible institute and had been paying out of pocket. Then I was laid off from my job earlier this year and was in that unemployment state for over 5 months. My family and I are barely recovering from such a tremendous burden on our finances. I have come to realize that God does look out for his children and that we are never in want because of his provision. Studying at CLI allows me to work at my own pace and achieve my goals to better serve the Kingdom of God. For me being able to receive my ordination dream while keeping my regular job in order to keep tithing in my church and providing for my family is literally a dream come true. Thank you for the opportunity and consideration for this great honor.

This deacon ordination training will assist my ministry by equipping me and preparing me to better serve my church and community. This ordination training for deacon will open many doors for me such as a potential for a prison ministry that God put in my heart a while back. I also just want to share that I love doing God’s work by evangelizing anyone who will listen to my testimony. This free ordination minister training has been the very solid foundation my ministry needed. It has given me the boldness and confidence I need to be a better witness to God’s plan of salvation for humanity. I ask that you would pray that my witnessing to those who need salvation would receive it with open hearts and minds and that the seed that is planted within them falls on fertile ground and gives fruit a hundredfold. Thank you for this awesome experience.
