Ordained Gospel Minister

God Is Faithful To His Word

Ordained Gospel Minister

My name is Liz Ketcher Catlin. I am called to be an ordained Gospel Minister. I am 56 years old, a wife of 37 years, and mother to two children. My son is 35 and a father to four (one of which is a miracle baby), and a Pastor serving an inner city church in Houston. His wife is their Children’s Pastor. My daughter is 32, and she and her husband are the parents of two boys. One of her sons diagnosed at age two with cancer. We have watched God do amazing things in these last two years. His sickness is winning people to Jesus just by the very nature of the miraculous in his life!

God has always made Himself very real in my life. I was abandoned at 13 months by my mother and taken in by maternal grandparents. I attended a Christian school and came to know the Lord at a young age. God has played a HUGE part in my life as evidenced by the miracle grandchildren and 37 years of marriage.

Ministry Involvement

I have been involved in ministry most of my adult life. I always wanted to pursue licensing of some sort, especially in Women’s Ministry. But, time and money constraints were issues. I have had the privilege of three incredible mentors in my lifetime. I also had many great teachers of the Word as Pastors and friends. These faithful people have poured their knowledge into me and encouraged me along the way. I feel now is finally my time to do something with all that He has given me.

I love to write and did so for a travel magazine. While I enjoyed it, it brought no satisfaction as to Kingdom consequences. I hope one day to write and speak all over the world to remind others WHO they are and WHOSE they are! That is my life message.

Jesus and my walk with Him is THE most important thing in my life. Being an abandoned infant, I could have grown up with feelings of loss, anger, bitterness and of being unloved. Yet, I have never felt unloved or abandoned. I always felt a sense of someone who loved me unconditionally, and I knew Him as my personal Savior, Comforter, and Creator. It’s because of the relationship I have with Him that propelled me into ministry. I overwhelmingly desire to tell others my story. I want to share with them how they too can know a God that loves them and will not leave them.

Free Study and Ordained Gospel Minister Opportunity

This free study opportunity will fulfill a lifelong dream to bring credibility to the calling on my life. Unfortunately, women pastors are sometimes not recognized for their value in ministry. My church and Pastors are amazingly supportive, but others are not. I want to use this to open door to the opportunity to speak LIFE to women and to help bring light to the darkness. This is my passion!!

I titled my profile “God is faithful to His word” because the Holy Spirit told me when I was in the 10th grade that I was to be in ministry. Being young, I assumed I was destined to marry a Pastor. When that didn’t happen, I assumed I had missed it somewhere. But, He was speaking to me specifically. When I was introduced to Christian Leader Institute, I realized I too could be ordained. I knew then that God fulfilled His word to me.

Thank you for the opportunity to see my dream of becoming an ordained Gospel Minister become a reality!
