Credentialed Ordination Journey

I am Miranda White, and I am on a credentialed ordination journey. I married Matt White on December 2004, and we live in Virginia. We have three sons and one daughter; Matthew, Micheal, Marie, and Mason. I homeschool our children full time. However, I have felt God’s calling for a while now, to write Christian study guides. I’ve been writing these study guides since I was 15 years old, but I want to further my education before finalizing these projects.

Early Family Life

My very first memory of being introduced to God was when I was three years old. My dad told me about the streets of gold in Heaven and how we will have everything there. My family was not very financially fit, and we didn’t have many extras. So, I imagined myself riding down the gold pavement on a pink and purple big wheel tricycle, just like the one I saw on the front of a sales sheet.

I feel blessed that my parents talked to me about God from such a young age. Although they weren’t active in church and they didn’t live the way most people did, it was vital to them that my sister and I knew God. They sent us to church with friends, where I gave my life to Christ at the age of 12. When I was 13 or 14, they sent us to a private Christian school where we cleaned the bathrooms to make payments in exchange for tuition. We didn’t get to graduate from there, but I am thankful for the biblical education I received.

My mother did become active in the church later. My dad did not, but he and I talked about the Bible, and he knew that Jesus was his Savior. Up until my dad passed away on May 9, 2017, he struggled with alcoholism. Therefore, I have compassion for those with addictions. My dad and I were close enough that he would tell me how his habit and behavior made him feel. It was incredible how this man could quote Scripture and pray with me, but “that which he did not want to do…”

Marriage, Family, and CLI

I also take marriage and family obligations seriously. Most of my studies revolve around family and marriage. Overall, I want to do whatever God needs me to do, wherever God needs me to do it.

I want to stand before God with my report card and hear Him say, “Well done.” I believe that Christian Leaders Institute will help me be more confident while presenting my books to publishers and while teaching my children and witnessing to others.

Credentialed Ordination Journey

I have been working toward ordination for two years now. I wanted to write biblical study guides and journals and came across the Christian Leaders Institute while researching. I thought it would help me to build my Bible knowledge from a new platform. Now, the last year I feel called to counsel families and married couples.

Once I started telling people about my ordination with Christian Leaders Alliance, God blessed me with many supporters. People have surprised me by saying that they believe I should be a minister. Family members who have watched me since birth say that they knew I would grow up to do something special with my life. I want to serve God and be a blessing and share Christ any way God impresses me to do.
