Trained Wedding Officiant

Trained Wedding Officiant Licensed with CLA

I am Matthew Reavis, a licensed healthcare provider in a small, rural town in North Carolina, USA. I am blessed with a loving wife and the happiest small son. Currently, I am studying at the Christian Leaders Institute to become a trained, licensed wedding officiant in the Christian faith (Learn more about online Bible classes, Click Here). Then I can make an impactful difference in the union of my sister-in-law and her fiancé. My sister-in-law asked me to do her the great honor of officiating her upcoming wedding. The deep commitment to our marriage by my wife and I inspired her and her fiance. As I accepted this great honor’s responsibility, I knew I needed to become educated. I wanted to learn what is needed to officiate a wedding in our Christian faith successfully.

Finding CLI for Training

My journey began searching online as my local church chapter didn’t offer any official training. It was becoming increasingly difficult for in-person instruction in this time of COVID. As I searched online, I knew that I wanted an actual educational course to train me. Then, I can conduct and officiate a wedding properly. That’s when I found the Christian Leaders Institute. I registered, created my online profile, and immediately started delving into the curriculum. The knowledge I gained was beneficial. I learned how to organize premarital counseling to honing my skills at delivering a wedding message.

As I have shared my story and education experience through CLI and this course, other family members have inquired about the site. It has sparked interest in other course material and Bible scholarship. I’m not sure what other avenues I may become interested in, but I’m sure CLI has great resources to guide me when the time arrives.

Marriage is a sacred act and union before Christ. Couples should enter into it with great respect and reverence. As a trained Wedding Officiant licensed with the Christian Leaders Alliance, I plan to officiate my sister-in-law’s wedding in the Christian faith. It will give them the best footing and foundation for this new chapter of life before Christ. Thanks, CLI and CLA!
