Ordination

I am Ma. Ana Maravilla, a Filipino who was born in Manila, Philippines. I am a resident of the United Kingdom and living in London since 2007. I have been working as a Healthcare Assistant for several years now in various care homes in greater London. I will be receiving my Deacon Minister Ordination with Christian Leaders Alliance.

I began my faith in Jesus Christ at age 10 under the Bible Baptist Church in Legaspi City led by a missionary, Pastor Lloyd Baker of Illinois, Missouri. It was my auntie, the youngest sister of my mother who encouraged me to attend the Bible studies and church service regularly. I am the only member of the family who became a believer since our clan is all Catholic.

Life wasn’t that easy for me to have grown up without parents and to have worked since I was at a very tender age while studying until I finished my degree. God gave me wisdom and the courage to locate my parents. I found them both when I was 17. I have six (6) brothers and three (3) sisters on my father’s side, and an elder brother on my mother’s side. I was alone before and now I am so blessed to have one big happy family. My father passed away in 2009 and my mother is presently reunited with my auntie. They are both under my care and living in our house in the south of Manila.

It was in 2004 when I was first baptized as a Pentecostal in Singapore when I worked for two (2) years as an Overseas Filipino Worker. But it was here in England when I became an active member of some Christian churches, such as, UCKG, The Great Commission Ministry led by Reverend Josefina Bolor, and presently I am appointed as Evangelism Leader at Reign in Christ Jesus Ministry led by Pastor Tinie Zerna and wife, Sister Rose Zerna since the start of the ministry in January 2016. I have renewed my baptism at Yardenit, the baptismal site along the Jordan River which was officiated by Pastor Tinie Zerna during our Easter trip to the Holy Land of Israel on the 1st of April 2016.

It was Pastor Tinie who gave me all the information and guided me to be enrolled at the Christian Leaders Institute when I was searching for a ministry training institute. And my schooling at the Christian Leaders Institute will surely help not only in my spiritual growth but for the furtherance of the gospel and expansion of the Kingdom of God.

To be ordained as a Deacon Minister is a representation of Christ-likeness who came down from heaven as a servant and not to be served. So thus, in my ministry, by becoming a Deacon Minister, I can represent the church in the community through reaching out. Likewise, by assisting the community would there be needs that should be known to the church.

In my spiritual journey and my walk right now, I do believe my calling in the ministry is in soul winning. And to become a Deacon Minister is an open door and a great opportunity for me by God’s help and leading to bring people to Christ. In my work in the ministry, I open my house for gatherings. And at times, I am called for fellowships at nearby places or at a workplace.

My free ministry training and ordination as a Deacon Minister have a great influence in my future ministry by strengthening my faith and spiritual maturity. By the power of the Holy Spirit, I am called to become more like Jesus! Prayers on multiplication, spiritual encouragement, wisdom, healing, financial breakthrough and protection are most needed in my ministry.
