Ordained Christian Leader

Ordained Christian Leader

My name is Michael Boer and I am called to be an ordained Christian leader for the Lord. I am a citizen of South Africa. I am 49 years of age and am married to a wonderfully supportive wife and we have 2 children. I am unemployed for the past two years because of a severe back injury, so now my wife is the only breadwinner. I suffered major depression and stress and tried to commit suicide three times. This was not God’s plan for me.

I grew up in a God-fearing home. At the age of eight, I accepted the Lord in my life. During 1988, I was part of a Youth revival in the Western Cape, South Africa, when hundreds of young people accepted the Lord in their lives. That was the time when the Lord start using me as a leader in ministry. I was never ordained, though I become involved in different denominations teaching God’s children to become ‘wholly for Christ’ (2 Cor. 5:15). I serve as assistant pastor in our church and am committed to His service.

Since my youth, the Lord called me into ordained Christian leader ministry and I always turned my back to His calling. God used different strategies to convince me that He wanted me, until the sickbed after my last suicide attempt. While I was unconscious for three days, the Lord appeared to me and said that He wanted me to train and mentor His sheep to live a deeper intimate life with Him. He said that I was to train His shepherds to become more equipped in the His word and to teach His word with confidence. I am unqualified to do this, but the Lord said to me that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” I spoke to the Lord on this matter and asked for His guidance because many church leaders do not have formal ministry training since they do not have the finances to pay for intuition. I started searching in faith for ministry training in South Africa that is affordable for myself. I could not find a college that suited my budget. I then search for online ministry training and found Christian Leaders Institute. When I saw “Free Online Ministry Training”, I was shocked and realized this is from God. I immediately signed up for the Getting Started course.

While I worked through the course, I was wondering if this is what God wants me to do. After finishing the course, I spoke to God about this ministry to raise up revival leaders in South Africa and I was amazed the way God worked in preparing me for ministry as an ordained Christian leader. Although God gave me several confirmations signs that this is His plan for me, I still struggled to accept His calling to raise up revival leaders and mentor His flock. Something happened after I finished my ambassador course, I had to pay $75 to receive my ambassador’s ID card and certificate that I do not have because I am unemployed with only my wife’s income. I speak to God and said to Him if this is what you want me to do provide me with the $75. I received an email from Rhonda Sullivan that said, “Henry told me to send you the ID card and certificate for free.” Wow!!! How can I still ask God if this calling is from Him? Through Christian Leaders Institute study program I am qualified to provide High-Quality ministry training to everyone. The new Deacon Ministry Ordination course Christian Leaders Institute is offering is another way God is telling me to minister to His flock. With this ordination certificate and the membership in the Christian Leaders Alliance, I will be more confident to minister to and teach God’s children to live a deeper intimate relationship with God. My further studies with CLI will equip me to teach and preach the word of God more effectively.
