Deacon Ministry

Hi! I’m Herman Wendell Grootboom. I am from Johannesburg, South Africa. I firmly believe that the Deacon Ministry Ordination will be a great advantage to have in my ministry work as it will add more credibility to the work that I do in my community and beyond. This deacon ministry ordination with Christian Leaders Alliance will open up opportunities for me to take the gospel and start ministering in hospitals and prisons as only ordained clerics can do ministries in these institutions.

My studies at Christian Leaders Institute have already opened up opportunities in ministry. Recently, I was asked and tasked to start up a Bible study department in our local church. This Bible Study ministry will benefit not only our church members but the community at large. My training at Christian Leaders Institute has been a big role player in my spiritual growth as well. Sometimes, it seemed like I had my own personal group of mentors. (At times, I would joke and tell my wife that if I was not born again already that after certain classes that I was taking, I would be born again for sure).

This free ministry training has been a Godsend for me as I am currently unable because of financial constraints to go to any other institutions for higher education. The study material content here at Christian Leaders Institute is world class. The lecturers are informative and through their classes, I could feel their love for God and what they do for Him. I pray that God blesses them always. Pray for me to be bolder for Christ as I serve Him daily. Also, pray that I may continue to grow even more spiritually as I daily walk with God and serve Him wherever and to whomever He shall lead me.
