Officiant Ordination Story

Hello, my name is Joshua Morris. I am 36 years old and I live in Atlanta, GA. I have been married to my amazing wife for fourteen years and together we are raising our four wonderful children. I work for a company called Chick-fil-A in the Restaurant Training Department in Atlanta, GA.

I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at the age of nine and I am so thankful to God for my salvation. I have a passion to care for others and teach God’s word to those in my church. I have also served on the Pastoral staff of my local church. I was looking for a school that would allow me the opportunity to receive formal ministry training and am thankful that God leads me to find CLI. Because of my full-time job and family, I was unable to go to Seminary in order to receive ministry training that I believe God would have me acquire.

CLI has been an excellent option for me to receive formal ministry training in conjunction with my local mentors that can help me to grow as a leader in the Church. I believe CLI has helped to strengthen my walk with God, equip me as a leader and help me to better care for God’s people.

I believe that this Officiant Ordination will help to confirm my calling that I and other people have seen in my life. I most identify in the role of Pastor and I believe that this Officiant Ordination is the next step for me in this next season of life. My prayer is that God would give myself and the other students the strength and endurance to walk in our gifting’s and to be better servants in his Kingdom.

Thank you, CLI for allowing me this opportunity and I pray that God would richly bless your labors as you strive to prepare servant-leaders to reap the harvest. Sincerely, Joshua Morris
