Ordained Minister Story

Ordained Minister Story

My name is Griffin Wagner, and this is my ordained minister story. I live in Brodheadsville, Pennsylvania. For the past several years, I have been studying for the ministry. I came across Christian Leaders Institute back in 2016. I ran this program by a friend of mine who is a Pastor, Doctor and Psychiatrist. He reviewed it and stated, “This is a solid program and you will be happy with it.” Since then, I have been going through the different certifications. I have learned and achieved much.

This is my ordained minister story of how I came to be an Ordained Deacon Minister with Christian Leaders Alliance. When I was very young, I always felt God’s presence. I did not know who he was but I knew he was there. I was raised Roman Catholic and this was a good foundation for me. I remember times when I would ponder upon God and He would pour small amounts of information into a small boy. I was mostly afraid of Him because I knew He holds the power and is in control.

Later on, in my teenage years, I felt called by Him with such intensity. I remember writing a note to a friend of mine explaining that God wants me to do something. I think she thought I was crazy but I understand because what teenager would understand this anyway. I felt very strongly about this and I wanted to be a priest, but I knew if I went that route then I could never be married and have children.

As my teenage years progressed, I fell away from my faith. I took a route that was unholy and sad. I joined the world and sought after its pleasures for many years. I found nothing but loneliness and despair. But still, I felt God’s presence shadowing me every step of the way. I continued to run but I was about to hit rock bottom. A man I worked with used to listen to Christian radio programs. For a while, I gave him a hard time and even mocked him, but I did hear what the messages had to say.

I was constantly working and never seeing my young family. I was always angry and I took it out on them the very few hours I was home. I knew I could not keep going like this, but I was addicted to the overtime pay and the freedom I had at my job. My final fall happened when my stressed out wife called me at work. She said that my daughter had a good question for me. Then, she handed the phone to a little 8-year-old girl who asked, “Daddy, are you coming home for Christmas?” That is when the bottom dropped out for me. As this was happening the man I worked with was listening to a message on Ecclesiastes. So, I hung up the phone in shock and I heard the radio pastor talking about “chasing the wind”. As I listened more, I felt him telling my story as if he knew. Not long after that, the Lord extended His hands in love and I accepted Jesus into my life. Since then He has broken me and has been molding me into a new creation.

Now in my ordained minister story and many years and life lessons later, I am engaging in ministry. With the help of the Holy Spirit, I am starting a life/church group in my neighborhood. I have Christian Leaders Institute to thank for their wonderful free ministry training program. It helped me develop into a good leader and grace-filled man. If you want to serve the kingdom of God, I encourage you to be a part of CLI. They have a great program that will help mold you into a Christian Leader to serve the Lord Jesus Christ and be at your best.

My ordained minister story continues. After I am ordained as a Deacon Minister, I will continue with CLI to become an Ordained Minister. Once again, I would like to thank Christian Leaders Institute and the Christian Leaders Alliance. I will be needing the prayers of ALL the saints and I will be praying for ALL of you as well. We are all in this together and we all serve the same Savior and King. God Bless You!
