Kandy’s life is marked by service—not only in ministry but also in healthcare. After spending over a year in nursing homes, she transitioned to home health care. “My dream is to start my own church and a Home Health Care or even a Nursing Care and Rehabilitation Center,” she said. CLI’s courses are helping her turn that dream into a vision supported by knowledge and spiritual leadership.
So far, Kandy has earned numerous awards and certifications through CLI, including Licensed Christian Wedding Officiant, Deacon Minister Ordination, Christian Basics, Women’s Ministry, Officiant Ministry Skills, and more. She is currently continuing her studies with the New Testament Survey course.
Born on the same day as her mother—October 12—Kandy carries on a legacy of faith and family. She and her husband, Shawn, have seven children and one grandchild with another on the way. Through all of life’s transitions, Kandy is determined to stay rooted in Christ and ready to serve.
Her journey as a Ministry Officiant is just beginning—but with faith, training, and calling, she’s stepping forward with purpose.
“These classes will help me out a whole lot more to be prepared in learning all types of scriptures and more.” — Kandy Marshall
