Minister ordainment is a public recognition of your calling, character, and competence to serve in a ministry role. Unlike quick online certificates with no spiritual or educational depth, the CLA ordainment process combines study-based training with spiritual affirmation. It’s designed to help you grow in both knowledge and practical ministry skills, while being affirmed by mentors and your local community.
At Christian Leaders Alliance, minister ordainment is offered in four distinct paths:
💍 Officiant Roles
For those called to conduct Christian weddings, funerals, baptisms, and other sacred ceremonies.
🕊 Minister Roles
For individuals who feel led to preach, lead discipleship groups, provide pastoral care, or engage in broader church and community ministry.
🚑 Chaplain Roles
Ideal for those serving in volunteer, part-time, or career chaplaincy in hospitals, first responder teams, correctional institutions, schools, or community groups.
🤝 Coaching Roles
For those gifted in Christian life coaching, ministry mentoring, and discipleship guidance, helping others grow spiritually and walk in their calling through biblically grounded, Spirit-led coaching relationships.
Your minister ordainment journey begins with free online courses through Christian Leaders Institute (CLI). These courses are:
Upon completing your CLI courses and meeting ordainment requirements, you’ll receive official ordination through Christian Leaders Alliance. But it doesn’t stop there.
You’ll also be invited to start a local Soul Center—a spiritual gathering hub where you can:

When Kyle Stowers was asked by a friend to officiate a wedding, he never expected that simple “yes” to launch a life-changing ministry journey. Like many who feel the gentle tug of God’s call, Kyle wanted more than a piece of paper—he wanted a minister ordainment that truly meant something.
“Funny enough, I didn’t want just a run-of-the-mill ordainment,” Kyle explained. “I wanted it to truly mean something, and I wanted it to be of the Christian faith—not just something that I plug my name into and it meets a requirement.”
That search for meaningful, biblically grounded preparation led Kyle to the Minister Ordainment program at Christian Leaders Alliance, powered by the free-access ministry training of Christian Leaders Institute (CLI).
As he began the courses, a deeper calling was awakened.
“As I began taking these courses, something stirred in me. I couldn’t stop taking the classes.”
Kyle found himself listening to CLI lectures during commutes, absorbing theology and ministry training like a sponge.
“I called it going down the ‘Rabbit Hole’—God’s Rabbit Hole, as it is. I didn’t want to stop, and still don’t.”
What started as preparation for a single ceremony became a pathway to a lifelong calling. Through CLA’s ordainment program, Kyle not only gained the ability to officiate, but also to serve in meaningful ministry—and even build a local Soul Center for discipleship and outreach.
“I am incredibly thankful that this ministry exists to give training and purpose to anyone who pursues it without a fee,” Kyle shared.
