Christian Leaders Ministries operates through three strategic programs:

1. Christian Development School
The Christian Development School develops free academic adult education and college-level courses.
This school operates on a “give it forward” model, removing as many barriers as possible to help multiply Christian leaders around the world.

2. Leadership Excellence School
The Leadership Excellence School administers a ministry-focused degree program for those called to volunteer, part-time, or full-time ministry.
This school offers:
Associate and Bachelor’s degrees in:
Divinity
Leadership
Chaplaincy
The Leadership Excellence School is funded through educational services fees and associate-level student scholarshipsfor bachelor-level study.

3. Christian Leaders Alliance
The Christian Leaders Alliance is the leadership empowerment program of Christian Leaders Ministries.
CLA provides:
Leadership for the Christian Leaders Church, which meets weekly on Zoom.
Empowerment of Christian clergy into volunteer, part-time, or full-time ministry roles—one of its main focuses.
An up-to-date clergy directory of credentialed ministers.
To be listed in the CLA clergy directory, a person must:
Complete a role-based study program through Christian Leaders Institute.
Receive local endorsement confirming character and calling.
Be locally commissioned within their ministry context.
Another major focus of the Christian Leaders Alliance is the multiplication of Soul Centers for credentialed clergy who agree with our Statement of Faith and Christian Philosophy of Identity.
The Christian Leaders Alliance is funded through generous donations and fees.

🎓 Ministry Training and Ordination

The Christian Leaders Alliance ordination program recognizes a wide range of ministerial roles, including:

Christian Clergy Roles
Christian Leaders Alliance credentials ministers in four main role categories:
Officiant Roles
Minister Roles
Chaplain Roles
Ministry Coaching Roles

This program connects believers with ministry credentials that are both recognized and accessible worldwide. All training is provided through the Christian Leaders Institute (CLI), which offers over 200 free ministry courses and mini-courses.

🏘️ What Are Soul Centers?

Soul Centers are affiliated Christian religious societies and ministries that work in partnership with the Christian Leaders Alliance to multiply Christian leaders and ministry impact. Soul Centers led or served by CLA-credentialed ministers are invited to register.
The work of Soul Centers may include:
Ministry Services
Serving as Wedding, Romance, Funeral, Faith, or Ministry Officiants.
Ministry Practices
Providing ministry or marriage coaching, pastoral care, visitation, and other ministry practices.
Churches and House Churches
Local churches or house churches can be registered in the Soul Center Directory.
Ministry Organizations
Ministries focused on evangelism, discipleship, outreach, or specialized care are welcome to register as Soul Centers.
Educational Organizations
Educational ministries grounded in Christian religious themes may also be registered as Soul Centers.
This can include micro-schools that help high school students earn a bachelor’s degree through the Leadership Excellence School.
Christian Leaders Multiplication Centers or Mentor Centers
Soul Centers that intentionally seek to multiply Christian leaders in their communities.
These centers often map out how to raise up more volunteer, part-time, and full-time ministers in their local context.

Each Soul Center is designed to catalyze spiritual connections, pastoral care, discipleship, and leadership multiplication. Leaders of Soul Centers affirm the Christian Leaders Alliance Statement of Faith and abide by the Soul Center Handbook.

📖 Biblical Vision

The vision of the Christian Leaders Alliance is rooted in Acts 2, where God promises that His Spirit will be poured out on all people—sons and daughters, young and old, rich and poor—calling them to lead and minister.

CLA exists to remove barriers of cost, geography, and tradition so every believer who senses God’s call can be equipped and recognized. Through:

Free ministry training

Ordination recognition

Development of Soul Centers

… the Christian Leaders Alliance empowers ordinary Christians to serve as leaders in their communities.

The Christian Leaders Church plays a vital role, providing spiritual covering and community for both students and credentialed ministers.

✨ Accountability and Integrity

Credentialed ministers of the Christian Leaders Alliance are called to lead godly and moderate lives, in line with 1 Timothy 3:

“He must also have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the devil’s trap.” — 1 Timothy 3:7 (WEB)

Any form of verbal, sexual, or physical abuse is strictly forbidden. Reports of misconduct result in immediate removal from the Alliance. Concerns may be reported to hreyenga@christianleaders.net or by writing to the Michigan office.
