When Jeremy Algozzine’s brother asked him to officiate his wedding, Jeremy wanted more than a quick credential. He wanted biblical training that would prepare him to serve faithfully while continuing to grow in his own walk with Christ.

Jeremy lives in upstate New York near the state capital. As a husband, stepfather, and soon-to-be father, his family and Christian faith are central to the life he is building.
“My wife and I just purchased our dream home and property for our family, two cats, two horses, and two bunnies. We are both Christians and live our lives to honor God and give Him glory.”
A Change of Direction
Realizing There Was More to Life
Jeremy traces an important turning point in his spiritual journey to about six years ago, when he began sensing that the life he was living needed to change.
“A voice told me there was more to life than the one I was living.”
Jeremy stepped outside his comfort zone and attended a local church. There, he experienced a powerful moment of confirmation when a pastor shared a prophetic word that deeply touched him.
An Invitation to Serve
Asked to Officiate His Brother’s Wedding
When Jeremy’s brother asked him to officiate his wedding, Jeremy began looking seriously at how he could prepare for the responsibility.
He did not want to pursue a pathway that treated marriage as merely a ceremony or ordination as merely a transaction. He wanted training rooted in the Bible and consistent with his Christian beliefs.
“I browsed several websites, but none had a Biblical view of marriage.”

Jeremy’s search eventually led him to Christian Leaders Institute. The study-based approach and biblical emphasis were exactly what he had been looking for.
