My Story
Beginning My Ministry Journey
I began this journey in January 2023 while searching for classes on youth ministry certification. As I studied and perused the CLI catalog, I expanded the scope of what I was looking for.
A Growing Calling
Called to More Than Youth Ministry
I realized that God calls me to lead more than just youth. I wanted to serve in all leadership capacities at my church.
My hope is to pursue a career as a Family Life Minister in the future.

Continuing My Education
Therefore, I want to continue studying and have decided to pursue an Associate of Divinity Degree, although that will definitely take me longer than four months!

More Than a Licensed Minister Story
I already shared my faith story in an earlier profile. However, I want to say that my calling into ministry began with that journey.
The message I gave on Mother’s Day in May 2022 was a step in my healing process of infertility. Yet, I had no idea about its impact on others or on my life. It was the small pebble that started a significant change in my life.
While I love teaching, all the knowledge and skills I have gained after seventeen years in education may be put to better use in different environments.

I am nervous, excited, and terrified at this prospect. However, wherever this journey takes me, it is an unimaginable joy!
God is calling me to serve Him and help others walk with Him.
Trusting in God and His plan is still a daily struggle for me. But I walk with confidence that this is His will, and I am not alone.

A New Chapter at Forty
It has been an incredible four months of hard work and study at Christian Leaders. I am excited about my future.
Who knew that turning 40 in three days, on Good Friday, might give my entire life a whole new meaning? God knew!
