A Journey Rooted in Faith

Learning More About God and His Purpose

John describes his faith journey as one that began many years ago. From being baptized at an early age to spending part of his life in Jerusalem, his experiences helped shape his desire to continue learning about God and serving His mission.

“It has been a long journey which started long ago when I lived in Jerusalem. Maybe even before that because I was baptized at an early age.”
“I have learned so much about God and His purpose for us in the last two years. I am excited each and every day to learn more and to serve His mission.”

A Special Opportunity to Serve

Asked to Officiate His Daughter’s Wedding

John’s journey into wedding ministry became deeply personal when he was asked to officiate his daughter’s wedding. Rather than seeing the ceremony as simply a family role, he viewed it as another opportunity to serve God.

“I am truly blessed to have been asked to officiate my daughter’s wedding.”
“I am honored to continue serving God’s mission, seeking to live like Christ Jesus and loving all people because God first loved us.”

Preparing for the Ceremony

Equipped Through the Wedding Officiant Skills Course

As John prepared to officiate his daughter’s wedding, the Wedding Officiant Skills Course helped him better understand both marriage and the practical structure of a wedding ceremony.

“This course gave me the basic understanding of marriage and its importance. It also provided me with a general understanding of how weddings are formed and operate. This course gave me confidence in performing my first wedding.”

For John, the training offered more than practical instructions. It strengthened his appreciation for the meaning of marriage and helped him approach his first ceremony with greater confidence and preparation.

Faith in Action

Answering God’s Call to Serve

John’s experience shows how wedding ministry can become one expression of a broader calling to serve. What began with a family wedding became another opportunity to apply his faith, continue learning, and participate in God’s mission.

Continuing the Journey

Growing in Faith, Knowledge, and Ministry

John’s desire to learn did not end with his first ceremony. He continues to see Christian education as an important part of becoming more prepared to serve others.

Each new opportunity for study and ministry gives him another way to deepen his understanding, strengthen his confidence, and remain available for the work God places before him.

A Journey of Faith and Service

Serving God Through Life’s Meaningful Moments

John’s story reflects a faith journey shaped by learning, family, and service. Officiating his daughter’s wedding became another meaningful chapter in his desire to honor God, love others, and continue answering the call to ministry.
