Timothy Bunch: From a Wedding Invitation to Christian Wedding Ministry
After a lifetime shaped by Christian faith, military service, law enforcement, family, and local church involvement, Timothy Bunch discovered a new ministry opportunity when a friend asked him to officiate a wedding.

A Faith Formed Early
Growing Up in a Loving Christian Home
Timothy’s Christian faith began early in life. Raised in a loving Christian home, he gave his life to Christ as a child and was encouraged by the faith and example of his parents and teachers.
As he grew, Timothy continued finding ways to participate in the life of the church. His service included helping in the sound room, Sunday school, men’s ministry, and other areas where he could support the church and its mission.

A Life of Service
From the Marine Corps to Law Enforcement and Family Life
Timothy’s story also includes years of service beyond the walls of the church. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Gulf War and later entered a career in law enforcement.
In 1995, another important chapter began when Timothy married Aimee, a friend from his school years, after the two reconnected. Together they went on to raise six children while remaining involved in their local church community at Grace Community.
Military service, law enforcement, marriage, parenthood, work, and church involvement all became part of the life experience Timothy would eventually bring into ministry.
An Unexpected Ministry Opportunity
Asked by a Friend to Officiate a Wedding
After retiring from police work, Timothy started a construction business and began praying about what new ministry opportunity God might place before him.
The answer came in a form he may not have expected: a friend asked Timothy to officiate a wedding. That invitation stirred something deeper and introduced him to wedding officiant ministry.

For Timothy, being asked to lead a wedding ceremony was not simply another task to complete. It became an invitation to consider how his faith, life experience, and desire to serve could come together in a new ministry role.
